As the founder of McClarney Financial Group, Travis has an incredible drive to care for others and help them provide for their families. Having four young children, Travis understands the importance of being financially sound by protecting and maximizing wealth to provide for his family. That’s why McClarney Financial Group and Travis’ mission is to provide clarity and peace of mind about your finances. Travis was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana and is a proud graduate of F.J. Reitz High School, go Panthers! Travis was a committed athlete and played baseball all four years of high school. After graduating high school, Travis went to Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio where he maintained a baseball scholarship and excelled in academics where he completed his degree in just three years, always a step ahead of the game.
Travis began his financial career immediately after graduating college in 2010. After a few years in the financial service industry, Travis’ professional accomplishments were acknowledged when he became partner of a fortune 100 company at the young age of 23. After a few years as partner, Travis made the decision to leave management to develop more meaningful client relationships and make a larger financial impact for his clients. Travis’ dedication and commitment to the financial industry along with his knowledge and skillset as a financial planner gave him the foundation to open his own firm, McClarney Financial Group, in 2015. Travis and McClarney Financial Group has continued to grow over the years but has never lost focus on providing individualized strategies and guidance to protect assets and grow wealth. No matter who you are or what you do, every single client's current goals and future goals are important.
In addition to his financial practice, Travis is extremely active in his local community. Travis believes that supporting his community, where he was raised and where his four children are being raised, is important.
President of Kiwanis Club of Evansville
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Evansville’s goal is to help children through fundraisers and benefits with many local organization. These include Evansville schools, Riley Children’s Hospital, and local nonprofit organizations to name a few.
Coach at Golfmoor Baseball Association
Travis’ love for baseball has continued throughout the years. Not as a player, but as a coach for his children and other boys and girls within the Golfmoor Baseball Association on the westside of Evansville. Travis coaches 3 of his children’s recreational baseball team as well as his oldest sons travel baseball team. Travis thoroughly enjoys spending his weekends at the baseball field with his family and friends, teaching kids the fundamentals of baseball and sharing his love for the game.
NAIFA
The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) was founded in 1890 as The National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU) and is the only organization representing insurance and financial advisors regardless of their services or products. NAIFA strives to promote and protect the critical role of insurance in a sound financial plan and the essential role of professional advisors.
Indiana State Parks
Travis’ interest for state parks has grown over recent years given his families love for camping. Travis and his family enjoy playing, walking, and bike riding in Indiana State Parks, especially Harmonie State Park in New Harmony, Indiana. Travis supports Indiana DNR as they play an important economic role, even in our local and surrounding communities.
Reitz Varsity Scholarship Club
This club gave Travis a scholarship his senior year of high school based on academics, athletics, and community involvement. This scholarship provided Travis with a financial contribution that went towards his college expenses, lowering his overall financial burden. Travis appreciates their mission and values and actively supports the boys and girls of his alma mater.
Travis is also dedicated to political activism and volunteers for multiple local, state, and federal campaigns, where he meets with and speaks to federal congressional leaders about policies that affect his clients.
Travis’ most precious pastime is, and always will be, spending time with his family. He and his wife Courtney are a happily blended family with two sons, Owen and Conway, and two daughters, Grace and Annabelle. Travis and his family are dog lovers and have a black lab named Mac. Travis grew up helping his father breed and train dogs and this is where Travis fell in love with English Bulldogs. Travis hopes to have an English Bulldog join the McClarney family in the near future.
In addition to hanging out with family, Travis enjoys golfing, fishing, grilling, baseball, camping, and visiting Indiana state parks.
